黃果樹瀑布位于貴州省安順市的白水河。它高達77.8米，寬達101米，是中國和東亞最大的瀑布之一。黃果樹瀑布水勢浩大，是世界上少數(shù)幾個幾乎可以從上、下、前、后、左、右任何角度觀看的大瀑布之一。黃果樹瀑布出名始于明代旅行家徐霞客，經過歷代名人的游歷、傳播，黃果樹瀑布已經成了知名景點。觀賞黃果樹瀑布的最佳季節(jié)是6月至8月，這時瀑布流量可達到每秒700立方米的峰值。
The Huangguoshu Waterfall is located on the Baishui River in Anshun, Guizhou Province. Being 77.8 meters high and 101 meters wide, it is one of the largest waterfalls in China and East Asia. The Huangguoshu Waterfall is mighty and is one of a handful of big waterfalls in the world that are accessible for viewing from almost any angle—from above, below, front, back, left or right. The Huangguoshu Waterfall became famous in the Ming Dynasty after Xu Xiake, a famous traveler, visited and spread it. And it has become a famous scenic spot with generations of celebrities’ travel and dissemination. The best visiting season is June to August, when the climate is pleasant and the precipitation is abundant, and tourists can enjoy the beauty of nature.
