糧食安全是國家安全的重要基礎(chǔ)。中華人民共和國成立70多年來,中國人民依靠自己的力量將飯碗牢牢端在自己手上,不僅十幾億人口的吃飯問題得到了解決,居民生活質(zhì)量和營養(yǎng)水平也有了顯著提升。近年來,水稻和小麥的產(chǎn)量滿足了國內(nèi)的需求,實(shí)現(xiàn)了糧食基本自給,同時(shí)糧食進(jìn)口滿足了國內(nèi)多樣化的消費(fèi)需求。過去吃不飽的日子一去不復(fù)返了。
Food security is the important foundation of national security. Chinese people have been self-reliant in ensuring their own food security since the founding of the People’s Republic of China more than 70 years ago. Not only have the food problems of over a billion people been solved, but the quality of life and nutrition of the residents have also been significantly improved. In recent years, as the yield of rice and wheat has satisfied the domestic needs, China has basically achieved self-sufficiency in grain, with food imports meeting the domestic consumption needs for diversity. Gone are the days when we didn’t have enough to eat.
