讀書(shū)的狀態(tài)大致分為三種:一是為別人而讀,二是為有用而讀,三是為興趣而讀。
處在第一種狀態(tài)是最痛苦的,自己本不想讀,但迫于外界壓力卻不得不讀。好多中小學(xué)生就屬于這種情形。在這樣的狀態(tài)下,讀書(shū)真是苦不堪言。有不少學(xué)生曾咬牙切齒地發(fā)誓:畢業(yè)考試一結(jié)束,一定把××?xí)鵁簟?/p>
一些為了拿文憑、評(píng)職稱(chēng)而讀書(shū)的亦在此列,對(duì)于他們而言,讀書(shū)實(shí)在是件苦差事。
第二種是為有用而讀書(shū)。處在此列的人已知書(shū)中自有黃金屋和顏如玉,已經(jīng)能從煙波浩渺的書(shū)海中有所取舍,讀書(shū)很有目的性,或?yàn)樘岣邔?zhuān)業(yè)技術(shù)水平,或?yàn)樨S富知識(shí),學(xué)電腦的看電腦書(shū)籍,學(xué)文學(xué)的看小說(shuō),當(dāng)老師的讀教育心理,做生意的看經(jīng)濟(jì),搞行政的讀政治、管理……為獲得某方面的知識(shí)而讀書(shū),以具備養(yǎng)家糊口的基本技能,憑真才實(shí)學(xué)立足于社會(huì)。
第三種是為興趣而讀書(shū),這是讀書(shū)的自覺(jué)狀態(tài),更是一種境界。不為有用,只因喜歡,這些讀者把讀書(shū)當(dāng)作生存的基本需要,讀書(shū)已和吃飯睡覺(jué)一樣必不可少,三日不讀書(shū),則自覺(jué)面目可憎,心里就空虛、失落、不踏實(shí)。
Those who read to get diplomas or professional titles also fall into the first category. For them, reading is really a terrible grind.
The second category read for utility. People belonging in this category aware that they can benefit a lot from books and they can make selection among the vast sea of books. They have a clear purpose of either improving their professional skills or enriching their knowledge. For instance, those who major in computer science read computer books, those who study literature read novels. teachers read educational psychology, businessmen read economics, and administrators read politics and management…They read for obtaining knowledge in a certain field so as to support their families and establish themselves in the society with real learning.
