My View on Cycling
In this picture, a man tells his wife that he finds an alternative-fuel vehicle that runs on fat instead of petrol, which turns out to be a bicycle. The picture indicates that bicycles, as an important means of green commuting, gradually come back into people’s sight.
Green commuting is a familiar phrase or even a slogan in China now. With the increasingly severe smog and heavy traffic, it is a wise option to ride a bike when people go out. Most importantly, there are indeed many benefits. First of all, cycling does good to our health considering that modern people have very limited time for a workout. What’s more, the cycling, which is energy-saving and eco-friendly, can reduce air pollution, a problem haunting Chinese people. Last but not least, cycling is more efficient in the rush hour compared with driving a car or taking a bus.
To sum up, in order to have a better environment and higher quality of life, we should advocate cycling and put it into practice.
