A person’s life is like a marathon race. Everyone has the last lap. which usually belongs to the senior who have a long journey of life. People in their seventies and eighties have gone through difficult paths in the world, met the multitude of beings and overcome numerous obstacles in their life, thus reaching the final stage of life.
The last lap may vary in length, and people run at different speeds. Some run with steady, powerful and peaceful steps; some stagger and totter with crooked steps; some procrastinate and are sluggish with faltering steps. Worse still, there are also people who run into wrong paths and people who run slowly and stand in the way of others; or people who don’t follow the rules of competition. Such people are doomed to failure.
