在云南省西北部的玉龍雪山腳下坐落著人間仙境般的麗江古城。古城里聚居的居民以納西族為主，是我國(guó)唯一的納西族自治區(qū)。人們驚訝于這里天人合一的古樸意識(shí)及其博大精深的文化內(nèi)涵，贊嘆西南邊陲的少數(shù)民族先人們?cè)邴惤@片奇麗的土地上筑起了一座沒有城墻的古城。古城里的建筑多沿水而筑，隨著水勢(shì)而構(gòu)成一條與河流并行的瓦屋長(zhǎng)廊，臨街為鋪，臨河為樓，前鋪后樓。
At the foot of Yulong (Jade Dragon) Snow Mountain in northwestern Yunnan Province lies the wander land, the ancient town of Lijiang. The inhabitants of Lijiang are mainly of Naxi minority, and the city is the only Naxi autonomous region in China. People are surprised by its ancient and simple sense of integration of nature and human and its extensive and profound culture, and amazed by the ancestors of the ethnic minorities who built a city without a wall on the beautiful land of Lijiang at this southwest frontier. The tile-roofed houses, mostly built by a river, usually parallel to the watercourse and form a long corridor, with the front facing the street as shops and the rear hanging over the water like towers.
